This picture was taken from the PanAmerican Highway looking up the road that leads to my house.
This is the view of the volcanoes across the street from my house.
This is the entrance to my house, or compound if you will.
That is the front “courtyard” with a pila, and my house.
Inside my house. This is the common room.
This photo is taken on the patio of one of the other houses where we have our Spanish lessons and where I hang out and sit in the hammock – a nice breeze comes through there.
The pila where we hold our water for cooking, bathing, and washing clothes and dishes. Water falls (we get running water) about every four days. In the area behind the pila is where I bath.
Where I bath – with that red bucket! I bath at night, so we turn the patio light off so I can bath naked without anyone seeing otherwise I would probably have to bathe with clothes on.
Me washing clothes!
Me, Rebecca, Nemisis, and Daniel.
